Atelier Polyhedre FR
CARAFE-PIPELINE & TRANSVERSALE (ceramic objects)
ATELIER POLYHEDRE, created in 2007 by Baptiste Ymonet and Vincent Jousseaume, is a studio of creation and production of ceramics. The approach borders to the visual arts, decorative arts and design through an experimental and artisanal approach towards the material. Natural phenomena and more radical inspirations constitute Atelier Polyhedre's repertory, passing through very rigorous and geometrical forms or in contrast to organic or even baroque phenomena leaving voluntarily a large place to chance. Molding is one of the main techniques of the workshop. Playing on repetition and variation, the mold is no longer just a reproduction tool but becomes a production tool. Projects can range from creating an object to setting up a complete environment.
